Cincinnati’s Horticultural Society,

inspired by the Big Pig Gig  introduced

Flower Power is an exciting community

project that marries floral and artistic

beauty.   The Glasshand fabricated the

200 boxes used by the artists invited to

participate in the project.  These planters

were placed all over the Tri-State area in 2002.    Artist found sponsors and were provided the planter. The example here was designed by Barbara Trauth.

Our hometown of Cincinnati has provided us many opportunities to showcase our talents.

The Big Pig Gig was a public art exhibit displayed in Cincinnati from May 14 to October 31, 2000.
In the large-scale event, local artists and schools decorated fiberglass pig statues and installed them throughout the downtown area. The Glasshand was very involved with the molds of many of these pigs and even created the conceptual design of several of them
In the summer of 2004, ArtWorks crteated Bats Incredible!, a public art initiative displaying of over 200 three-dimensional, freestanding sculptures constructed out of dozens of genuine, regulation major league baseball bats.  Coordinating this event with the grand opening of Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark, the new home of the Cincinnati Reds
